I can go on and set them up to automatically come out on the actual due date if I want or pay them earlier. I haven't had a problem in years, I guess that's what they all really want. Great thoughts and post!

Have a blessed day!
Hugs,
Kathi :)Kathi~Lavender, Lace and Thymehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08782261786291024562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36363347.post-89827978540480772472008-09-21T08:27:00.000-05:002008-09-21T08:27:00.000-05:00Ben- Thanks. I feel a bit nervous when I talk with my kids about money. I suppose it's the upbringing that talking about money isn't okay coming out. I still think it's important though, so I just work through my issues and plod on.

Gail- It's good to hear that people are helping their children learn about money. Sometimes we need to make the mistakes ourselves to truly learn the message, but it's nice to have a strong foundation and someone you don't feel ashamed of talking about money with.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09582157624382487302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36363347.post-46920544750500953632008-09-19T17:36:00.000-05:002008-09-19T17:36:00.000-05:00Really good points Cinj! Money needs to be talked ...Really good points Cinj! Money needs to be talked about with our kids. Even now we talk to our grown up kid about financial issues. Thanks for bringing the subject up for discussion!

GailGailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16194325535496408116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36363347.post-52086067813196326462008-09-19T15:33:00.000-05:002008-09-19T15:33:00.000-05:00This is an excellent post, Cinj! I could especiall...This is an excellent post, Cinj! I could especially relate to the need to talk about money and financial issues within the family. Talking about money was considered "vulgar" in the South when I was growing up, and so I never heard a word about our family's finances, or lack thereof. I'm sure I drove my parents crazy asking things like why I couldn't have shrimp for supper on the rare occasions when we went out to eat, while my father was doubtless sweating over how to pay for the meal at all. As a result, I was completely clueless about money and had no idea I should even plan for a career, much less think out a career plan that would support me. Ugh! How I wish my family had talked to us kids early and often about money!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
