I just went back this week to a place where I use to work under the same circumstances. It was not comfortable but it wasn't my fault either.

I ignored them and went about my business. I feel better cause I got it behind me. The first time is always the hardest. We judge ourselves more than anyone else. I'm glad for you it went well and now you can move on.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36363347.post-53243671723187530532008-05-15T21:08:00.000-05:002008-05-15T21:08:00.000-05:00We all worry at times. The children were polite, well behaved, and worked hard. She was amazed and told me the children never sit so nicely for the other teacher. I'm sure it wasn't all me or anything, but it felt good to hear the comment anyway!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09582157624382487302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36363347.post-31306513753485386562008-05-15T13:53:00.000-05:002008-05-15T13:53:00.000-05:00cinj,Hang in there, you can do it...Gailcinj,

Hang in there, you can do it...

GailGailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16194325535496408116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36363347.post-37279160926255835202008-05-15T04:17:00.000-05:002008-05-15T04:17:00.000-05:00Hey Cinj! Even if s/he's there, s/he can't come in your classroom with you! I suggest that you check out Eckhart Tolle's "A New Earth" from your local library (I loved the audio version, which has the author reading in a soft, soothing voice, though I also read the book itself.) It's one of the best books I ever read! It really helps you focus on the now instead of on your fears. Meanwhile, good luck and God bless!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36363347.post-6986252328880918032008-05-14T20:36:00.000-05:002008-05-14T20:36:00.000-05:00Hey, not only do you have history, you have a ment...Hey, not only do you have history, you have a mental disorder. Give yourself a break.

Try some meditation or yoga. You know what the direct issue is, so quit obsessing and focus on something else.Sylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11437557860571803908noreply@blogger.com
