He makes me lie down in green pastures

Good Friday to you! It's almost Easter. We have so much to be thankful, who couldn't be joyous on a day like today?

Sure, there will be silence and sadness when the alter is stripped and the lights are turned down, but without great sadness we would never know great joy.

I wanted to share this picture with you. One of the ladies that my husband works with was so kind as to get these for our kids. I have never seen a lamb made out of butter before, have you?

Leave me a message and a backlink. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I've never. Very unique.

We have so much to be thankful for. If we were to begin a list, it might never end. ;-)

May you have a blessed Easter.

ps May I "tag" you to leave 10 unique sets of information about yourself? (I'm going to add your name to my post!) :-)

Ummm, thanks I think??

I had never seen any of these before coming here either. I guess Wisconsin is dairyland!

I'm glad you told me that was butter! So is it in a mold? I would use that mold to make a chocolate lamb and use the butter as an ingredient. I'm dieting too and good thing I'm working so hard now at my new job. All this Easter candy is getting in the way.

Easter is so awesome--I think it should be bigger than Christmas.

My son ask me the other day---Why does the Easter Bunny hide his eggs? So no one will know he's sleeping with a chicken!!!

Yes. Neat huh? I think I like you idea better though. I might have to try that! I've got two of them. YUM! Cadbury's creme eggs are my favorite Easter candy. Oh, and those Starburst or Jolly Rancher jelly beans. MMMM.

Easter is an excellent holiday. Very meaningful AND less commercialism!

LOVE that joke.

Hi Cinj! Butter lambs are big in PA, too (another big dairy state)--you can find them in the stores before Easter. (Butter turkeys before Thanksgiving, too.) Hope you and yours have a blessed Easter!

Anna- Maybe you'll be able to find some on the clearance rack? Good luck. I know what it's like to be too busy though, I almost forgot to get anything for my kids. Luckily they were on vacation so I managed to whip something up for them!
