This blog shares stories of our adventures, experiments, gardening techniques, crafting exploits, and a great many other things. I do not try to make myself look perfect either. There's nothing fake here. I share my failures as well as successes. This blog documents all aspects of our lives, not just what we are good at. Stop by, have a nice tall cold glass of lemonade, and chat with me, won't you?

I just had to laugh!
Cheesehead was so sweet. Look at the cake he made for us with a little note to go along with it too. The part that made me laugh though, was the part that was cut out before we got home today. Do you think he REALLY made the cake for us??? LOL! Still, it's the thought that counts.

Of Course he made the cake for himself!!! My mom use to do that and when she didn't want you to know how much she had eaten, she would cut the cake up into pieces and put the pieces on a plate. I was on to her though and you are on to Cheesehead!!
I got a showing today and think I'll get an offer in the morning. Woo hoo--I'll let you know.
I know. Too funny. Oh well.
Let us know if you get an offer. I'm keeping everything crossed!!!!
Hi Cinj, does cheesehead take orders? I'm sure he can make a little side money by the looks of that cake! Your man has talent ;)
He does have a talent for cooking and baking. Funny, but he won't admit to it! Especially not in public. It is SOOO yummy. He tells everyone that I made it though.
If we ever had the money, it would be nice to open our own restaurant. We talk about it often. As hard as he works, it would be nice if he could be working hard for himself and our family instead of making others rich with his labor!
Aren't you guys lucky...now you are going to have to acquaint me with all the family names;)
