Wishing Everyone Safe Travels

It's been a bit treacherous here in the Midwest lately, too much snow in a short period of time. Drive safely and make sure you can see better than poor mama duck before you take off!

I think she needs to shake off that snow before she takes flight. You can barely make out her yellow hat peeking above the snow. Do you see it? It's that lump in the middle of the picture. It was still snowing when this picture was taken so she's now completely covered in snow. Poor thing, I hope that you're able to stay warmer than that.

Merry Christmas!

Thank you for stopping by. Please leave me a message. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Cindy

Merry Christmas Cindy!

Mom won't be making it down for Christmas this year. I'm glad they decided to stay safe and cozy at home this year. It's not a good Christmas for traveling in the midwest, that's for sure!

Merry Christmas Cinj. I always love it when the mama duck and her ducklings cross the road, doesn't happen that often. It's wonderful even in 2 feet of snow! Merry Christmas to you, cheesehead, and your family!

Lona- At least I don't have to live outside! We got even more snow now. Lucky us. Merry Christmas.

Linda- My family always seemed to like to celebrate on Christmas Eve AND Christmas day. Maybe it's a bit of the Swedish tradition unknowingly coming out. I hope yours is (was?) great!

Linda- I think it's for the best they didn't travel this year, the southern part of the state has really been hit hard with the snow from what I hear.

Tina- Merry Christmas!

Lisa- Nope! Thank God. We did have some driveway clearing to do before the company arrived though. Merry Christmas.

Gail- Thanks. They probably thought was the best Christmas ever after they got their presents opened. It has been a pretty happy one desite not having much money. I hope you have a great Christmas too.

Dawn- Merry Christmas to you too. I think it will take a while for the duck family to get anywhere under all that snow.

Cindee- Merry Christmas to you too.

Amy- Merry Christmas. We'll try to stay warm. You too!

Ben- I'll be glad to see this year end. Actually I think I said that the last two years too. I hope we don't have more than three of them in a row. Thanks! Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year to you too!

Joy- Thanks. I figurede as long as I'm stuck with lots of snow I might as well flaunt it.
